Brian Gardner was one of the pioneers of premium WordPress themes with the original Revolution Theme in 2007. Since then there has been quite an evolution of the Revolution. Numerous themes were released under the Revolution Themes brand until they were locked away forever at the end of 2008, and RevolutionTwo was born with a bunch of brand new open source themes.
Today the evolution has continued with RevolutionTwo rebranding as Studio Press. Brian explains the rebrand is necessary due to ‘legal reasons’ and ‘a lot of plans moving forward’. But whatever the real reason I’m sure we will see a lot of good things coming out of the new StudioPress. Check the current themes at StudioPress.
